White Sox team President Kenny Williams doesn’t want people to think that he told former White Sox player Adam LaRoche to leave his 14-year-old son, Drake, at home because he [Kenny Williams] believes the child is a “distraction.”

ESPN quoted Williams as saying, “I want to be very clear on something. It’s not because the young man was a distraction-

Any way, one of the things we said coming into this season is, ‘Let’s check all the columns’ with regards to our preparation, our focus to give us every chance to win.”

Yep, Williams said that little man Drake wasn’t a “distraction.” But, he had to go. And little man Drake had to go because he was a “distraction” who was taking away the team’s “focus” and ability to have “every chance to win.”
